Welcome to my website, fineart-shop.nl, where I showcase my fine art photography. I’m Frans Schmitz, a photographer and fine art printer from Venlo, the Netherlands. Born in 1957, I’ve had a lifelong passion for photography and art. After running a photography and design shop in Alcudia, Mallorca, I returned to the Netherlands in 2009. Since 2024, I have been working independently, creating fine art prints of my work.
In the Artworks section, you’ll find high-quality photographic prints on premium fine art paper. Each print is carefully edited, signed, and available with a personalized certificate upon request. Shipping takes 7-10 days.

I am Frans Schmitz, born in 1957 in a small village on the border of Brabant and Limburg. As a versatile autodidact, I am always eager to learn and engage in deep conversations. Since 2003, I have been active in photography, focusing on street photography since 2006.
In 2024, I started my own fine art printing business in Venlo, combining my passion for photography and art. My goal is to capture on paper exactly what my eyes have seen—preserving the essence of the moment with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship.

Stadhoudersstraat 131 VenloFine art printing en aanverwant. Sinds augustus 2024 weer als kleine zelfstandige begonnen. Al mijn ervaringen en kennis bij elkaar geschraapt en fransschmitz.nl in een klein bedrijfje waarin ik mijn passie voor fotografie en fine art met de hulp van God tot bloei kan laten komen.

Na mijn vertrek uit Spanje eigenlijk nog alleen maar hobby-matig bezig geweest met de fotografie, m-a-w. ik doe dus nog alleen maar wat ik echt leuk vind! Het maken van Fine Art prints is daar kortgeleden bijgekomen, mijn passie is compleet!
